Booking Terms and Conditions
1. Participation in climbing activities and on-site safety
Bouldover Climbing Centre will endeavour to provide a service to
you with reasonable care and skill. Your safety and enjoyment are our
prime concern. We want to ensure that you have as much fun as possible in a
safe environment.
By signing up for a session, course or club with Bouldover
Climbing Centre you are acknowledging Scottish Mountaineering participation
statement below:
” Mountaineering Scotland recognises that climbing and
mountaineering are activities with danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be
aware and accept these risks and be
responsible for their own actions and involvement.”
All participants in climbing activities are also required to
complete a registration form prior to their session where they, or the adult
responsible for their involvement, will be required to declare any medical
conditions which may affect their or others safety during the session and also
to agree to abide by the Conditions of Use and Rules of the Centre. A refusal to complete the form will
be deemed a cancellation by the client. In the absence of
negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation neither Bouldover Climbing Centre
Ltd. nor its employees or agents shall be responsible for the death, personal
injury or illness of any guest, nor shall they be liable for any loss, theft or
damage to valuables or any personal property whilst on Bouldover Climbing
Centre premises. Non-climbing visitors to the Centre must register at
Reception and abide by the rules applied to visitors. Parents /guardians please
note: Parent (or responsible adult) of children 7 or under must remain on site while their child participates
in the activity. Parent (or responsible adult) of children 7-14 are advised to
remain on site with their child.
Bouldover Climbing Centre staff and instructors reserve the
right to remove participants from any session if it is deemed that their
behaviour places at risk the safety or enjoyment of that individual or others.
Reasons for exclusion from sessions will include, but are not limited to:
Refusal to comply with safety rules and advice, being under the influence of
drink or drugs, late arrival for sessions resulting in participant missing the
safety briefing, inappropriate dress, failure to comply with the age
restrictions on the relevant session. No refunds or compensation will be
payable by Bouldover Climbing Centre Ltd in the event that any participant
is not permitted to, or decides not to, undertake or complete the booked
activity for the reasons set out in this paragraph.
2. Payment for Bookings
All bookings are made with Bouldover Climbing
Centre Ltd, Registered Company No: SC649907
Registered Office: Bouldover Climbing Centre Ltd, Unit 1, Silverlaw Industrial Estate, Annan, DG12 5BT.

FEES
All fees are inclusive of VAT at 20%.
Fees are payable by cheque to Bouldover Climbing Centre Ltd., or
by cash, credit or debit card.

BOOKINGS
Open Sessions / Birthday
Parties
Full payment must be made at the time of booking.
3.
CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
In the event of a client cancellation:
The course/session is refundable or transferable up until 4
weeks before the date of the session.
Within 4 weeks of the course/session date the fee is
non-refundable but is transferable to an alternative date/time depending on
availability and at the discretion of Bouldover Climbing Centre.
Within 7 days of the course/session date the booking is
non-transferable and non-refundable.
4.
CANCELLATION BY BOULDOVER CLIMBING CENTRE LTD
Bouldover Climbing Centre Ltd. will make every attempt to ensure
that your sessions/events will run smoothly as scheduled and will endeavour to
rearrange your booking should it prove impossible to provide a service as a
result of a situation beyond its reasonable control. However, Bouldover
Climbing Centre Ltd will not accept liability for any additional losses you
incur as a result of a situation beyond our reasonable control.
In the event of Bouldover Climbing Centre Ltd. cancelling a
booking the client shall be entitled to one of the following:
a. A full refund of all money
paid.
b. A transfer to an alternative course/session/event.
c. A transfer to an alternative date.
